Abstract

As a result of a comprehensive analysis of current data we can conclude that current research areas include the study of diagnosing problems, the choice of optimal conservative surgical treatment, access to the plantar fascia, the optimal variant of post-operative rehabilitation, etc. All these provisions and gaps in scientific knowledge served as the basis for our study. At present the structural and functional disorders in various forms of plantar fasciitis, depending on the etiological factors (sports load, post-traumatic conditions, changes in the arch, systemic diseases, changes in the volume of adipose tissue of the heel region, age-related changes) are not studied yet.
