Modern approaches to aortic stenosis diagnostics

Abstract

Two the largest international guidelines dedicated to the aortic stenosis (AS) diagnostics were published in 2017. The algorithms of AS diagnostics contained in these manuals are intended to optimize the adoption of diagnostic solutions in everyday practice, starting from the district clinic to the cardiosurgical center. Acquaintance of practicing physicians with modern approaches to AS diagnostics contained in these guidelines will help to improve the clinical outcomes of AS.
