Abstract
It presents a biographical sketch of the doctor of medical sciences, professor, corresponding member of the Academy of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Cardiology and Therapy, the second rector of Irkutsk State Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education A.A. Dzizinsky. The material is devoted to the 80th anniversary of the hero of the day of birth.
